Welcome; New Look

Gardening Fun is aimed at those of us that enjoy pottering around in our own back/front gardens. Even though it is mostly for the basic gardener, there is no reason why an advanced gardener cannot take a look. There may be just something you need to check, and we may have the answer. Or you can help the rest of us out.

We have many years of gardening experience, and like a lot of people there is nothing better than relaxing on a summer's evening admiring the colour and beauty. Even if you only have an apartment or flat balcony, you can still enjoy a garden - container gardening. Whatever sort of garden you have the space for, you can still grow plants, vegetables and even fruit trees. You do not have to go without the gardening experience even if you only have a small space.

Like everyone we have made mistakes along the way, but like everything, we learn from our mistakes. By writing these articles for you, we aim to advise you on the right way of doing things to avoid the mistakes we made.

The biggest piece of advice, we will give you here is, to start small. Do not try to do the whole garden in one day. Start in one small corner, and if it takes you a single week to complete, do not get disheartened. It is better to start slow, and get a wonderful garden, than rush and get a disaster.

Gardening Fun hope you enjoy the information we provide here, and help someone get their garden looking just right. If you have any questions, send us a message or an email and we will try to help.

Some people prefer a large patio, and some would like a big lawn area, especially if you have cats and dogs. When choosing the style of your garden, you need to take into account who will be enjoying it with you. If you have children, you may need a space in the corner of the garden for a play area or sand pit.
